I have realized that resorts on average offer a good price, and some places advertise the greatness of the last second traveling and how much it is advantageous. - Watch out though; do not get too gritty and wait for last week or 2 weeks before; sure, the prices go down as the travel period approaches, but you might fall easily in a situations where the bookings for those travel destinations at that travel period sell out and you are left with nothing.
